Noe Reyna is an attorney at Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs, PC in Houston, Texas. Mr. Reyna was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas in 1985 and in the State of California in 1983. He has also been admitted to practice law in federal court in the Southern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, the Northern District of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Reyna was born in Texas and was raised in California. He has practiced law in the State of Texas for over 20 years. Mr. Reyna is fluent in Spanish.

Practice Areas/Experience

The emphasis of Mr. Reyna's current practice is environmental litigation. He also has experience in commercial, business, and tort litigation, including toxic tort litigation, in both the state and federal courts. Mr. Reyna has previously worked on creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters, including representation of debtors, creditors, creditors' committees, and trustees in bankruptcy courts and federal district courts. Mr. Reyna also has appellate experience in both the state and federal courts. His federal appellate experience includes appeals from the bankruptcy court to the federal district court, the federal district court to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and opposition to petition for writ of certiorari in the United States Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Reyna has assisted Spanish-speaking clients from Latin America in various commercial and litigation matters.

Professional Background

From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Reyna served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Hayden Head, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division. From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Reyna was an associate and a participating associate at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in San Antonio, Texas, where the emphasis of his practice was in the area of Creditors' Rights. Mr. Reyna was also employed at Connelly Baker Wotring & Jackson LLP in Houston, Texas, and at Johnson Spalding Doyle West & Trent LLP in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Reyna graduated from Harvard Law School in 1983. He graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine, in 1980, with degrees in History and Spanish. Mr. Reyna was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and he also received recognition as a University of California Regents' Scholar.

Mr. Reyna has participated in various pro bono projects, including representation of indigent clients and the provision of bilingual legal assistance to non-English speaking individuals.
